REDDING - CL&P has restored power throughout much of Redding, but hundreds of people there are still in the dark. Town leaders are focused on helping the one percent of families there who could be without power for another couple of days.

One resident, Matt Spilka, says his home is the only on his street still without power.

First Selectman Natalie Ketcham says CL&P is promising, not only to have 99 percent of the town's power restored by midnight, but to get the rest of it up and running by Tuesday.

First Selectman Ketcham says if your home still does not have power, but your street does, keep contacting CL&P at 1-800-286-5000.
