Husband, wife hurt in Norwalk crash

A husband and wife are recovering after their SUV slammed into a tree in Norwalk. It happened on Reed Street yesterday.

NORWALK - A husband and wife are recovering after their SUV slammed into a tree in Norwalk.

It happened on Reed Street yesterday.

Police say the man was driving on I-95 north when he had a medical emergency.

They say he managed to get off the highway at exit 14, narrowly avoided hitting two cars before crashing into a tree about 200 yards from the end of the ramp.

The driver and his wife were taken to the hospital.
