WILTON - The son of a woman mauled by the family's pit bull is now facing charges for letting the dog roam free.

The dog attacked Anne Murray, 65, in November and caused her to lose her left arm and part of her right arm.

Police say Ian Murray, 26, was cited last week for possession of a vicious dog and failure to comply with dog ownership requirements.

The charges stem from an incident in August, when the dog wandered onto a neighbor's property.

Murray is expected in court tomorrow.
