BRIDGEPORT - News 12 Connecticut spoke with Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch earlier today about the damage the city sustained from the fierce, quick-moving storm.

Finch is urging residents to stay indoors, off the roads and remain calm. He says the damage will take several weeks to clean up.

According to the mayor, five or six buildings in Bridgeport are near a state of collapse.
