The investigation continues today into a fire in Bridgeport that left one man dead Saturday.Dozens more were left homeless by the blaze on the corner

BRIDGEPORT - The investigation continues today into a fire in Bridgeport that left one man dead Saturday.

Dozens more were left homeless by the blaze on the corner of Fairfield and West avenues.

Tenants say the man burned alive in his room was a heavy drinker and may have left the stove on after cooking.

The landlord has helped the 33 people displaced find new places to live.
