STRATFORD - Stratford police say a man is out on bond after he tried to burn down his family's home to stop them from selling it.

Police say they charged Jason Raveis yesterday.

They say they got a call from his sister in August that he poured gasoline around the house and said he would set it on fire.

Officers say he was upset after learning the family put the house on the market.
