FAIRFIELD - Fairfield police are warning homeowners to keep their garage doors closed following a robbery last week.

Police say a thief walked away with three watches and two gold rings worth a total of $21,000 on Parkwood Road.

Officials say the homeowners left the garage bay door open, allowing the thief to walk through the unlocked interior door.
