REDDING - The Joel Barlow High School choir got a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform with a legendary rock band Wednesday night.

They shared the stage with classic rockers Foreigner in Hartford.

The choir won their opportunity in a contest last month after posting a video on YouTube of their "I Want to Know What Love Is" performance.

"A couple of weeks later, we got the call from Foreigner's tour manager saying we loved your entry and we would like you to come and sing for us," said chorus director Juli Givoni.

Foreigner performs with a different high school choir in every city they perform in.
