A judge has frozen millions of dollars in assets owned by a former Bush administration attorney and New Canaan resident accused of trying to kill

NEW CANAAN - A judge has frozen millions of dollars in assets owned by a former Bush administration attorney and New Canaan resident accused of trying to kill his wife.

In a civil hearing, a judge locked up $4.1 million in advance of a civil suit by Mary Farren against John Michael Farren.

Police say he tried to strangle his wife after she filed for divorce.
