STAMFORD - A free concert was held in downtown Stamford looking to raise money to help kids battling cancer.

A group of local teens organized the fundraiser called 'Jump for a Cure.'

The event was held on the Alive at Five stage in Columbus Park and featured several musical performances, as well as games and activities for families.

Organizers say the funds raised at the event will go toward research at Colombian Presbyterian Hospital in New York City and to 'Sunshine Kids,' an organization dedicated to kids with cancer.
