Jury to decide on death penalty for triple-murderer Richard Roszkowski

A jury in Bridgeport will start hearing evidence this week as they decide whether a man convicted of triple murder will be given the death

BRIDGEPORT - A jury in Bridgeport will start hearing evidence this week as they decide whether a man convicted of triple murder will be given the death penalty.

Richard Roszkowski, 48, was convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend, her 9-year-old daughter, and another man on Seaview Avenue in Bridgeport in 2006.

A previous jury sentenced him to death, but the state overturned the penalty because of an error made during jury instructions.

The new penalty phase of his trial starts tomorrow.
