DARIEN - A Darien woman is facing charges after police say she kicked a male officer in the groin.

Police say they arrested Katherine Sullivan for drunken driving on Monday.

They say she became combative when officers tried to put her in a cell.

Police say she kicked an officer so hard that she left an imprint of her shoe on his pants.

The officer is expected to be OK.
