Kids catch anti-bullying play in Bridgeport

BRIDGEPORT - A play about bullying is being shown to children in Bridgeport this week.

BQJ Productions, of Bridgeport, put on the play called ?A Bully's Blues,? which organizers say is an attempt at reducing bullying in the classroom.

Organizers say the story is about a teenage boy who ends up killing himself after being bullied by classmates, highlighting the related issue of suicide.

Bridgeport School Superintendent Dr. John Ramos saw the play today and said it did a great service to the Bridgeport community.

The play has garnered national attention and soon will go on tour to California and other states.
