Kristjan Ndoj, Shelton teen shooting victim, dies at Bridgeport Hospital

SHELTON - The Shelton teen who was shot in the head over the weekend has died. Homicide detectives are now investigating the shooting.

Kristjan Ndoj, 15, was shot in the head and leg on Saturday night.

Police have been investigating the possibility that Ndoj had been threatened on social media before the shooting. They believe the shots were fired from a wooded area near Agawam Trail.

Officials at Shelton High School canceled after-school activities Thursday and offered a moment of silence in memory of Nodj.

"The family does wish to express their appreciation and deepest thanks to all the doctors, staff and the entire team at Bridgeport Hospital for their heroic efforts in trying to save Kristjan's life," said family attorney Michael Boynton. "The family also wishes to express their appreciation to the Shelton Police Department."
