BRIDGEPORT - March Madness was in full swing in southwestern Connecticut as fans rooted the top-seeded Lady Huskies to victory over Cornell in their drive to the NCAA Final Four.
UConn put the hurt on Cornell Sunday, winning 89-47. Many fans made it a point to get to the arena well before tip-off to support the ladies.
"We're going to rock the joint tonight," announced fan Rocky Anderson before the game. "Oh yeah, we got it going on."
The Final Four will be taking place in New Orleans this year.
