NORWALK - Many people in southwestern Connecticut are trying to beat a midnight deadline to get their taxes filed.
The IRS says so far, more than half of the people in Connecticut have filed electronically.
Still, tax preparers say they're seeing big business today.
The IRS also says it will prepare a simple return for you if you make less than $49,000 a year and go to one of their offices.
