BRIDGEPORT - Federal lawmakers spoke Monday to Bridgeport residents afraid of losing their homes to assure them that money was on the way.

Sen. Chris Dodd was accompanied by Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Shaun Donovan during the forums.

Donovan said that he will look to get more counseling help for families struggling to keep their homes. Donovan and other lawmakers are asking that anyone who is jeopardy of losing their home to contact them through the Web or by phone.
