Leftover snow not sitting well in Norwalk

NORWALK - Residents in Norwalk say they're frustrated by the leftover snow dumped at the end of their driveways by snowplows.

The Norwalk Department of Public Works says its snowplows angle to the right and inevitably end up pushing snow in front of driveways.

Claudine Davis paid to have her driveway and sidewalk shoveled Wednesday. She woke up Thursday to a pile of ice and snow in front of her driveway. After she called the city to fix the problem, she was told residents are responsible to clear their own driveways.

The Department of Public Works recommends that residents wait to shovel until after crews have done their final cleanup.
