STAMFORD - A Stamford man who allegedly impregnated his stepdaughter has pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual assault.

Police say Leonel Bartolo-Rodriguez, 39, was arrested in New York last month after the 12-year-old girl told relatives he sexually abused her on several occasions.

Bartolo-Rodriguez is being held on $100,000 bond.

He is due back in court Sept. 8.
