NORWALK - Gay and lesbian centers across southwestern Connecticut are considering adding security in the wake of the Orlando terrorist attack.
The board of directors for the Circle Care Center in Norwalk met Monday night to discuss adding armed security to the building
The center acts as a clinic but also serves as a counseling center for the LGBT community.
The Trevi Lounge in Fairfield, the only gay nightclub in southwestern Connecticut, says it is reconsidering its security in light of the attack.
"We might need more security, more than one person at the door, two, but in terms of any kind of firearm or anything like that, I'm completely against it," Katia Capozziello says.
A candlelight vigil is planned for Tuesday at Trevi.
