FAIRFIELD - One week after a massive blizzard dumped more than a foot of snow in some areas of southwestern Connecticut, residents and businesses say life is returning to normal.

Last week's blizzard left roads nearly impassable, keeping people at home.

At the Circle Diner in Fairfield, employees say they're expecting a lot more people today since the snow is mostly cleared, compared to last week, when they had to close early because of the storm.
