BRIDGEPORT - Metro-North resumed limited service this afternoon between New York and New Haven.
The rail service says one of the tracks that was damaged in Friday's derailment began running again from Grand Central this afternoon.
Metro-North says regular westbound hourly service has been fully restored and about half the regular evening eastbound peak trains will run. Trains will only be able to run 30 mph in a seven-mile stretch.
The railroad says commuters should expect delays.
