Local rock band becoming teen sensation

NORWALK - A group of talented teenagers from Milford are starting to get a lot of attention for their rock band, Kicking Daisies.

The group got its start at the Chef's Table in Fairfield when the café's owner first took notice of the kids. Now they've managed to grab the attention of a Grammy-winning producer and their first album is due out next year.

The band sings, plays instruments and writes its own music. They also have endorsement deals and sponsorships with drum and guitar companies. Up next, Kicking Daisies will be taping a Disney pilot on Daniel Street in Milford.
