Loved ones bid final farewell to 19-year-old Greenwich car crash victim Vinny Scorese

GREENWICH - Family and friends said their final goodbyes today to the Greenwich teen who was killed in a car accident over the weekend.

The funeral service for 19-year-old Vinny Scorese was held in Greenwich. Scorese died after he lost control of his car on Riversville Road and crashed into a stone wall Saturday.

Mourners gathered at Leo P. Gallagher and Son Funeral Home in Stamford yesterday for his wake. They say the former hockey player will always be remembered both on and off the ice.

Today's funeral service was held at the Harvest Time Church on King Street.
