Malloy launches Conn. governor transition website

HARTFORD - (AP) - Gov.-elect Dan Malloy is launching awebsite where people can track the transition, offer ideas andapply for jobs in the new administration.

The new site,, was launched today.

Visitors to the website can fill out an online form and offersuggestions or ideas for Malloy and Lt. Gov-elect Nancy Wyman.Resumes and cover letters can be e-mailed to the site. Also, newsreleases and other items can be found there.

Malloy is set to become the state's 88th governor, the firstDemocrat since William O'Neill left office in 1991, on Jan. 5.

Malloy is replacing Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell, who did notseek re-election. He says he plans to launch in the coming weeksand months additional ways for residents to stay in touch with him.
