STRATFORD - Animal control officers in Stratford are looking for information about a dog found severely malnourished and dehydrated.

They say "Twiggy" was found tied to a trash can on Stratford Avenue on Valentine's Day.

Veterinarians have been taking care of her and the dog is now resting at the shelter.

They say despite her obvious neglect, she is sweet and trusting.

Officers say Twiggy will available for adoption any time after Tuesday.
