STAMFORD - A Stamford man is being held on $100,000 bond for allegedly beating his mother so badly she had to undergo surgery.
Police say Timothy Anderson, 42, began punching his mother in the face yesterday after she asked him if he took his medication.
Investigators say the 76-year-old victim shouted for help and Anderson's brother had to pull him off of her.
