BRIDGEPORT - A Stratford man accused of stabbing another man in Bridgeport appeared in court today.

Brandon Sanchioni is charged with stabbing Rudolfh Lazinger yesterday while he worked at a pawn shop on Main Street in Bridgeport.

Lazinger is the owner of Nathan's Pawn Shop and police say the men had dealt with each other in the past.

Police say the pair had an argument and then Sanchioni pulled a knife and stabbed Lazinger 15 times before leaving the store with an undetermined amount of cash.

Lazinger remains in critical condition, according to police.

Sanchioni is being held on $1 million bond and is due back in court later this month.
