Man accused of stealing Orange EMS vehicle

ORANGE - A man is facing charges after police say he boldly stole a paramedic's vehicle in Woodbridge yesterday.

Officers say 22-year-old Michael Issaev stole the Town of Orange AMR Flycar "Medic 33" while it was out on a call on Barberry Lane in Woodbridge.

Police say about 20 minutes after the vehicle was stolen, Connecticut State Police were called to the scene of a disturbance in Southbury, where they say they found Issaev with the vehicle and arrested him.

Issaev is being charged with first-degree larceny.
