NORWALK - Norwalk police say a man is facing charges after he threatened to kill officers at the scene of an accident.

Police say Henry Fernandez, 29, hit a parked car on Main Street yesterday.

They say when officers arrived, they found him standing in the road yelling at people, and then started threatening the officers.

Police say Fernandez smelled of alcohol at the time of the accident, but would not cooperate for a field sobriety test.

They say he also refused to be fingerprinted at headquarters.
