Man charged in connection with teen's body found in pond

(AP) - Police in Connecticut have arrested a22-year-old man on allegations he gave a hallucinogenic drug to ateenage girl whose body was later found floating

MONROE - (AP) - Police in Connecticut have arrested a22-year-old man on allegations he gave a hallucinogenic drug to ateenage girl whose body was later found floating in a Monroe pond.

Police charged Quentin Ham on Monday with distribution of ahallucinogenic substance known as DMT, which authorities say hegave to 17-year-old Danielle Jacobsen of Newtown and others whoattended a condo party in Monroe the night of May 29.

Authorities say Jacobsen failed to return home from the party,and her body was found in a nearby pond the next day.

Ham, a former Newtown resident who now lives in Texas, was heldin lieu of $200,000 bail. It wasn't immediately clear if he has alawyer.
