STRATFORD - The suspect accused in a Stratford hit-and-run appeared in court today.

Jayme Dias, 45, is charged with striking 29-year-old Natasha Walker and leaving her for dead on Main Street in November.

Police arrested Dias after they say they found his jeep with heavy front-end damage parked near his house.

Walker, a mother of three, has been hospitalized since the crash. Her family says she is in fair condition and has been moved to a long-term care facility.

Dias is expected to return to court later this month.
