Man faces prison time after alleged shooting

A Norwalk man will spend the next 30 years in prison for his role in a shooting that left one man dead and another paralyzed.

NORWALK - A Norwalk man will spend the next 30 years in prison for his role in a shooting that left one man dead and another paralyzed.

Kyle Freitag was sentenced in court yesterday.

He pleaded guilty to charges that he and a second man opened fire on a van with two men inside in 2012.

The second suspect is still awaiting trial.
