Police identify man shot to death in car as 39-year-old Kendall Jamar Willis of Bridgeport

Bridgeport police have identified the man found shot to death inside of a parked car on Staples Street Sunday afternoon as 39-year-old Kendall Jamar Willis

The Connecticut Post reports Willis was a major player in the Bridgeport drug trade in the 1990's who's been out of prison for about two years.

BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police have identified the man found shot to death inside of a parked car on Staples Street Sunday afternoon as 39-year-old Kendall Jamar Willis, of Bridgeport.

They say Willis died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Published reports say Willis was a major player in the Bridgeport drug trade in the 1990s and has been out of prison for about two years
