Man gets 10 years behind bars for attempting to molest boys

SHELTON - The Connecticut Post reports a Shelton man will spend the next 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to attempting to molest two boys.

Police say Jose Lameirao followed an 11-year-old boy into the men?s room of a Fairfield McDonald?s and asked him to go into a bathroom stall with him. They also say he tried to lure a teen into his truck in 2008.

The paper says that Lameirao will also be required to register as a sex offender.
