BRIDGEPORT - Police are investigating a body found in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport Sunday.

Jose Arbelo says he was taking a walk in the woods with his grandchildren Saturday afternoon when they spotted the remains of a person along Canfield Avenue near the Ash Creek. Arbelo says he thought it was a prank, but when they got closer, he saw the partially decomposed remains of a man.

Police removed the body and scoured the area for clues. Authorities have not released information about the person's identity or cause of death.

Arbelo says there were many liquor bottles in the same area he saw the body.
