NORWALK - A pool company employee is heading to court today after police say he caused several car accidents after draining water from a Norwalk pool onto a road in freezing temperatures.

Police say Alfredo Bahena-Benitez created a sheet of ice when he allowed the water from the pool to spill onto Flax Hill Road Jan. 9.

They say five vehicles crashed, including one that hit a plow and salt truck that was called to treat the road. No one was seriously hurt.
