Stamford police are searching for a driver who hit a man in the middle of the street and didn't stop.Police say it happened at Dock

STAMFORD - Stamford police are searching for a driver who hit a man in the middle of the street and didn't stop.

Police say it happened at Dock and Pacific streets around 1 a.m. yesterday. According to police, a 62-year-old man was lying on the road for unknown reasons when he was hit. The victim is in intensive care with serious injuries.

Police say the car appeared to be a dark sedan with tinted windows.
