BRIDGEPORT - Bridgeport police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run crash over the weekend.

It happened at North and Lindley avenues early Sunday morning

Police say Kenny Carrion, 20, died of head trauma after being hit on his dirt bike.

Carrion's brother says he and his brother were riding their dirt bikes down North Avenue when a car cut his brother off, making it impossible to avoid a collision.

Authorities say the driver turned herself in. They say she has not been arrested yet but they expect to file charges soon.

Bridgeport police say the victim was not wearing a helmet and point out that dirt bikes are not allowed on roadways.
