CALF PASTURE BEACH - Fire officials say a man was taken to the hospital Sunday afternoon after he fell out of his boat in Norwalk Harbor.    

The incident occurred at 1 p.m. near Calf Pasture Beach.

Officials say they found the man hanging from a mooring buoy. The victim told rescuers he may have been in the 35 degree water for as long as an hour.

They say first responders checked him out at the scene, and he was able to walk to the ambulance by himself.
