A Bridgeport man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for a deadly stabbing at a Milford party.Philip Moncrease, 33, pleaded guilty to manslaughter

MILFORD - A Bridgeport man has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for a deadly stabbing at a Milford party.

Philip Moncrease, 33, pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the stabbing death of Ryan Simpson.

Police say Moncrease stabbed Simpson several times in March of last year over a $50 debt.
