A Stamford man is in the hospital after he was hit by a car and landed on its windshield.It happened Friday night while the man

STAMFORD - A Stamford man is in the hospital after he was hit by a car and landed on its windshield.

It happened Friday night while the man was crossing the street at Broad and Franklin.

Police say Carlos Ordonez, 22, had just left work and was crossing the street illegally when he was hit.

Police say the driver of the car did stop and will not face charges in this case.
