STAMFORD - Two people found a man stabbed and bloodied on a Stamford street Sunday.

From what police can piece together, the incident occurred at around 2 p.m. on Pacific Street. However, they have not been able to interview anyone involved. Police say the victim was rushed into surgery at Stamford Hospital before they could talk to him and the two people who found the man do not speak English. Police hope to interview the victim Monday.

The investigation has also been impeded because police don't have an exact location of the stabbing. They were called after the victim arrived at the hospital.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
