BRIDGEPORT - The manager of a Bridgeport AT&T tells News 12 Connecticut he's lucky to be alive after being robbed.
Jon Gonzales says two young men entered the store where he was working around 11 a.m. They told him they had a gun, forced him to get on the ground, and said they would shoot him if he did not cooperate, says Gonzales.
Gonzales says they then filled a trash bag with smartphones and forced him to open the store’s register. The manager says his store was the second AT&T store in the area held up recently.
The suspects were wearing hoodies and drove away in a Buick Century, according to Gonzales.
Police say they are carefully reviewing surveillance video of the incident.
