WESTPORT - The manager of Village Bagels on Post Road East in Westport is asking for the community's help in identifying the woman who allegedly stole more than $100 in tips from the business.

In surveillance video provided by manager Ken Kaplan, you can see a woman stealing a tip jar next to the cash register and hiding it inside her jacket on New Year's Eve. Later on, she emptied a second tip jar. The manager says the woman had two children with her and paid for her order with the stolen cash.

The store manager says an employee noticed the money was gone when he tried to get change from one of the jars. He told his supervisor, who reviewed the video and called police.
