Martin, Rilling, Paul notch primary victories

NORWALK - Polls are closed in Connecticut and results are in for three mayoral primaries in Stamford, Norwalk and Stratford.

In Stamford, David Martin has claimed victory over William Tong in the Democratic primary with almost 52 percent of the vote. Tong has conceded the race. Martin now faces Republican Mike Fedele in November.

In Norwalk's Democratic primary, candidate Harry Rilling has won with 51 percent of the vote.

Joe Paul won Stratford's Democratic primary, with 55 percent of the vote over Beth Dapante.
