Medical condition likely behind Stamford drowning

STAMFORD - Stamford police say a man is dead after he was found underwater in a pool yesterday.

It happened at the Soundview Towers on Glenbrook Road.

Police say they do not believe foul play is involved, but rather a medical condition caused him to go underwater.

He was submerged for just less than 10 minutes.

His 3-year-old daughter saw her father under water and ran for help.

Officials say they are awaiting autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death.
