STAMFORD - A Roxbury woman with Olympic ambitions has returned to training after a life-threatening condition.

Megan Henry was the 2012 national champion in the skeleton, a headfirst race down an icy track that can exceed 80 mph.

Henry nearly died in 2013 after suffering from multiple blood clots caused by her birth control medication.

She says doctors told her she might never be able to return to competition. After spending years sidelined, she's working out at Blue Streak High Performance Training in Stamford.

She's worked her way onto the U.S. National Team with an eye on the 2018 Winter Olympics.
