STAMFORD - If you are riding the rails today plan to head home early.

Metro-North is making several changes to its schedules because of the storm.

The railroad will operate on a regular schedule until noon.

It will run extra trains in the early afternoon to help commuters get home.

Then, Metro-North will start reducing services around 5 p.m. That could happen earlier, depending on the conditions.
