NORWALK - Metro-North says its experiment with quiet cars is so popular that the program will be expanded to all peak hour trains next month.

Passengers in the last car on all morning peak trains and the first car on all evening peak trains will not be allowed to talk on their cell phones, listen to loud music or have loud conversations starting April 2.

People wearing ear buds or headphones will also need to keep the volume low so other passengers do not hear the music.
